Trump baby blimp stabbed by far-right activist who cuts herself in the process

A well known far-right activist called Amy Dalla Mura, or Based Amy, attempted to pop a smaller version of the Trump baby blimp balloon. However, it seriously backfired and she got hurt in the process.

In a video that she posted to her Twitter account and live-streamed via Periscope, Dalla Mura films herself walking up to a smaller, replica version of the 20-foot inflatable baby blimp, and stabs it with a sharp object, prompting shouts from surrounding protestors.

As she walks up to the blimp, she can be heard saying:

That’s a disgrace.

It’s a national disgrace. The president of the United States is the best president ever! Shame on you!

Then, after she's stabbed the blimp, she adds:

I've done it guys. Yeah baby!

I think Donald Trump's balloon is not very well. I think it’s going down rapidly for a reason.

It's going down, baby.

A moment later she can be seen holding up her bleeding hand, exclaiming:

I'm bleeding quite badly, though.

Then, as police arrest her, she can be heard saying:

America help me!

The clip then ends with Mura dropping her phone after an altercation with the police.

Speaking to the Independent about the stabbing, a spokesperson for Trump Baby UK said:

A woman… punctured the mini Trump baby replica with a sharp object.

She added:

It’s not surprising that the far right would want to meet freedom of expression with violence.

A representative for Scotland Yard told the Independent:

one female has been arrested for being in possession of a pointed or bladed article.

Based Amy hit the headlines in 2007, when she reportedly cost emergency services more than £1 million by staging a series of at least 50 'cries for help', and throwing herself into the sea in botched suicide bids, reports The Hill.

She has also previously been spotted at Tommy Robinson rallies.
