Donald Trump doesn't think he can be impeached because he has done a 'great job'

The word on everyone's lips at the moment, at least in the United States, is 'impeachment'.

Following the charges handed to Trump's former campaign manager Paul Manafort, and Michael Cohen's confession that Trump ordered him to use campaign money to pay off two women who claimed to have had affairs with the president, things are looking pretty uncertain for the commander in chief.

However, if you ask him, he is still doing a great job and doesn't deserve to be impeached.

In an interview with Fox News, which was aired on Thursday, Trump was asked about how he feels about the possible charges that are hanging over his head and he seemed a little puzzled because in his eyes he is doing a "great job".

Speaking to Ainsley Earhardt, he said:

You know, I guess it says something like high crimes and all -- I don't know how you can impeach somebody who has done a great job.

If I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash, I think everybody would be very poor. You would see numbers that you wouldn't believe.

Wow! Imagine if as long as you did a 'great job' on everything then no matter what you did you could never get fired or lose your job?

That would be like getting away with a federal crime for doing a decent job on the economy, where most of the hard work was done by the person before you.

Not only that, but - during the interview - Trump decided to grade his presidency so far and gave himself the humble score of A+.

I give myself an A+. I don't think any president has ever done what I have done.

We haven't even been two years. Biggest tax cuts in history.

Soon to be two unbelievable Supreme Court justices, I'm sure that Justice Kavanaugh will be approved. Justice Gorsuch has been a star.

You look at all the things we have done with regulations, the economy is the best it has ever been in history.

The only thing I'm doing badly in is the press doesn't cover me fairly.

Whatever you think of Donald Trump, you really have to admire his humility and downright stubbornness.

It looks like the internet agrees.
