Macaulay Culkin is not dead

It’s certainly one of the stranger internet crazes – and now the celebrity death hoax has made Macaulay Culkin its latest victim.

It was claimed that the Home Alone actor had been found dead in his New York apartment, but his rep yesterday put paid to the rumour, saying: “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the internet.”

Culkin himself attempted to debunk the rumours with a series of images posted via his band Pizza Underground’s instagram account yesterday, including this tribute to cult comedy classic Weekend At Bernie’s (about two workers who pretend their manager is dead) which saw him lying still in the arms of a bandmate.
