Pope Francis is currently in the Central African Republic as part of his three-stop African tour.

Speaking in the capital Bangui on Sunday, the Pope urged for an end to the partly sectarian conflict that has killed at least 5,000 since renewed fighting broke out three years ago.

Francis delivered a compassionate message of unity. But as we know by now, it doesn't take much for the Pope to ignite the internet's collective imagination.

And this time round, right hand holding the mic and left held out horizontally, it really did look a bit like he was spitting rhymes:
