Director Steven Spielberg is thanked more than God at the Oscars, according to an analysis of 1,396 Academy Awards acceptance speeches by Vocativ.

God comes sixth on the list of most-thanked – with directors Peter Jackson, George Lucas, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg and director Harvey Weinstein coming ahead of him.
