Cultural appropriation is a tricky issue, something that can be pretty hard to define.

One thing we're pretty sure isn't cultural appropriation though is the gay pride flag.

However, conservative radio host Bryan Fischer begs to differ.

Yesterday, he tweeted that "LGBTs stole the rainbow from god" and it was the "worst example of cultural appropriation ever". Umm...

He then quotes a bible verse where God - after destroying the earth in a massive flood - shines a rainbow down on Noah's Ark.

Twitter users weren't having any of it, quickly schooling the radio host on his error.

Some used science to explain how rainbows are really created

Other's pointed out his hypocrisy

Others ran with the joke

To make his comments even worse, they come just a day after the death of Gilbert Baker, who created the rainbow flag.

Unfortunately, this is the latest in a series of homophobic slurs from the Republican shock jock.

His previous comments include such diatribes as "homosexuality gave us Hitler", HIV does not cause AIDS but was invented for research money, and that the US military is overrun by "hypermasculine aggressive homosexuals".
