#DogsAtPollingStations is a thing that people are doing again

The EU referendum is gearing up to be a nigh-on biblical event.

There's torrential rain. There's thunder. There's lightning.

Amidst the apocalyptic weather, dogs are having to wait, soaking outside, as their owners go to vote at the polling station in today's EU referendum.

And if that isn't enough, they're getting their pictures taken, too.

And so #DogsAtPollingStations is once more a thing on Twitter...

People are tweeting images of their dogs, as they did last year for the General Election, at polling stations all over the country.

The desperation is quite clear..
