With just three days to go until the EU referendum, two new YouGov polls - one conducted before the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox, and one after - put a remain vote very narrowly ahead.

Both the Leave and Remain camps are gearing up for the final campaigning push, and the accusations of misinformation which have dogged both sides still abound.

One homemade poster spotted in Cardiff, however, has attracted attention online for its refreshingly honest take on why the UK should remain in the EU:

I remember what Cardiff looked like before we joined the EU

Let's not go back to that sh-t hole
Stay in!!

£4bn from Brussels has transformed Welsh urban centres in the last 20 years, particularly in the Valleys and Cardiff's once infamous Tiger Bay.

Between 2014 - 2020, Wales expects to receive £1.8billion from the EU in structural funds which are designed to boost economic growth in poorer areas.

Parts of Scotland and northern England also benefit from the same scheme.
