Angry Republican literally shoots the New York Times anti-gun editorial to pieces

For the first time in nearly a century the New York Times ran an editorial on its front page on Saturday in which it called the "gun epidemic" in the US a "moral outrage and national disgrace".

The article, following a series of mass shootings across the country, offered up a powerful diatribe against gun ownership laws in the US and accused politicians of "abetting" would-be killers.

While drawing praise from some quarters, staunch advocates of the second amendment have been up in arms over the growing anti-gun sentiment.

While the likes of Donald Trump argue that "more guns in the hands of good people" would reduce the death tolls of mass shootings, one conservative radio host made his point slightly less eloquently:

In a post on Instagram, Erick Erickson explained:

The United States suffered its worst terrorist attacks since September 11 and the New York Times' response is that all law-abiding citizens need their guns taken away. Screw them...

I hope everyone will join me in posting pictures of bulletholes in the New York Times editorial. Send them your response. Use the hashtag for my radio show and I may give you a shoutout.

Right.
