Trump condemned Obama's use of executive orders. He's now on course to sign twice as many

Donald Trump was once a critic of President Barack Obama's signing of executive orders.

He deemed the activity too frivolous, and often tweeted about it:

However, his tune has somewhat changed.

Probably because he has flown ahead of Barack Obama's executive order tally.

In fact, in all presidential actions he's raced ahead of Obama, including Presidential Memoranda.

So the question is:

Why is @RealDonaldTrump constantly issuing executive orders that are major power grabs of authority?
