It’s no secret that Trump isn’t a fan of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
Trump hopes to rewrite the act with a new healthcare bill he has just released the details of.
You might not be surprised to learn that it's already received criticism from both Republicans and Democrats (and beyond).
Among the criticisms are that it seems only to benefit high income people leaving those on lower incomes, who need the support the most, with a worrying future.
One journalist wrote for CNBC:
It stinks. What other word can you use to describe a plan that keeps most of Obamacare's entitlements but strips away a lot of the funding for them?
But now, Trump has taken political point-scoring to a whole new dimension, according to CNN White House correspondent, Jim Acosta.
He tweeted:
Trump told Tea Party groups at [White House] if [Republican] health care plan dies, he will let Obamacare fail and let [the Democratic Party] take the blame, I'm told.
