Channel 4 News anchor Jon Snow has made an emotional appeal for people to consider the children of Gaza, after returning from the area.

In the below clip he describes the scene he witnessed in Gaza City's al-Shifa hospital, where doctors were overwhelmed by victims of the Israeli military operation.

More than 1,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, 45 Israelis - 43 of them soldiers - and one Thai national in Israel have died since the offensive began.
