Kim Kardashian has been a long-standing critic of guns and gun violence.

As an American she will be more than aware of the ongoing problems that her country has with firearms.

There are believed to be around 270 million guns in the country and while there are regulations in place to prevent them falling into the wrong hands, the rise in mass shooting incidents is a trend for concern.

To counteract this, Kim has been doing all she can to take a stance against guns and help the victims of shootings.

Earlier this year she wrote an essay for National Gun Violence Awareness Day and in August 2016 started working with the Everytown, an organisation which is aiming to end gun violence and build a safer America.

It also shouldn't be forgotten that in October 2016 Kim was held at gun point and robbed in Paris which left the reality tv star "badly shaken."

Unfortunately, it seems that not everyone else in her family shares the same values when it comes to firearms.

In a preview clip from the new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashian's, Kim's sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner are seen discussing which guns they might buy.

A concerned Kim then walks in on their conversation and questions why they are even considering buying a weapon.

Khloe tried to defend herself by stating that she was merely looking into the possibility of buying a gun for the purpose of security.

Kim then explains her views on guns which seemed to resonate with her two siblings.

The clip then later shows Kim's work with Everytown and some testimonies from the victims who the organisations helps.

You can watch the clip in the video below.
