Hello from the other side, aka L.A.

Apparently Adele – England’s best export, winner of a thousand Grammys Adele – has become extremely chummy with two new residents of the City of Angels: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The pair famously upped sticks at the beginning of this year after their dramatic Megxit from the bosom of the Royal Family.

The couple and their son, Archie, are reportedly staying in a Beverley Hills mansion owned by actor Tyler Perry, located in an exclusive gated community.

And who lives just a 15-minute walk away?

Adele.

Naturally rumours have started swirling about a potential friendship blossoming between the three, particularly as they’ve worked together before on charity efforts for the Grenfell Tower Hubb Community Kitchen.

Several tabloids have quoted a "source" who claims the trio are now thick as thieves.

“Adele’s just five minutes from Harry and Meghan and they’ve swapped notes on the area. Adele loves the neighbourhood. She’s also recommended her four-year-old son Angelo’s pre-school and discreet places to take Archie where they won’t be bombarded by fans,” the source reportedly said.

All three of them get on so well. Meghan admires how Adele has managed to keep out of the spotlight despite being a huge star. And she is a big fan of her album 21, which she says helped her through her divorce from Trevor Engelson.

Great details – too bad fans are sceptical of the veracity of them.

There were raised eyebrows considering Meghan was born and raised in Los Angeles, also residing there when married to first husband Trevor Engelson.

“How is English Adele giving native Angeleno Meghan advice on how to live in Los Angeles?” wrote one social media user.

Another pointed out that Archie is one year-old and, as we’re currently in the midst of a pandemic, finding a school for him is probably not highest on the priority list.

So while this friendship would probably "break the internet" if proof ever emerged it’s real, there’s not yet any hard evidence of it.

Damn.

We know Adele is a fan of Meghan and Harry though; on their wedding day she posted a sweet toast to the couple on Instagram.

"Congratulations Meghan and Harry," the singer captioned the upload, which showed her holding a champagne flute and wearing a fascinator.

"You're the most beautiful bride. I can't stop thinking of how happy Princess Diana is upstairs x”.

So Rumour has it Meghan and Adele could be BFFs, but we're not sure if it's just wishful thinking, to be honest.
