The BBC’s flagship programme Question Time is renowned for provoking passionate responses from its audience members.
But with Brexit day looming, May’s deal twice rejected and an extension yet to be approved by the EU, the atmosphere on the programme has become positively hostile.
And during this week’s episode in Ealing, a fight even broke out, as one pink-shirted audience member interrupted another arguing for a People’s Vote.
After he had spoken over the other man, the Leave supporter was asked to speak by another audience member. He continued:
We had a referendum. That wasn’t meaningless, or was it? Where does it end?
Why don’t we just honour what the people voted for, and then take view whether or not that was right or wrong.
The people have voted. They got out of bed for a reason.”
He added:
It is nothing but sheer arrogance of people that have lost, and people that want to subvert democracy.
Get on with what people voted for… if we can’t honour what parliament said two years ago, it’s parliament’s fault.
We only need more time because you gentlemen failed.
Many people on Twitter didn’t seemed to too impressed by the Leave supporter, describing his interjection as "shouty" and "spot off".

Since the episode was broadcast, the audience member has been identified as Henry Hendron, a barrister who was suspended from his profession following a conviction for drug offences in 2018, according to a report by Legal Cheek.
Hendron has represented a number high-profile clients including Conservative politician Nadine Dorries, The Apprentice winner Stella English and the Earl of Cardigan, the publication claims.
However, this is not the first time political plants have appeared on the programme.
Last week Owen Jones claimed five audience members on the programme were Conservative activists.
