Sean Spicer was scheduled to appear behind his podium for a press briefing immediately after lunch.
However, the briefing appeared to take place in the middle of it, as Spicer briefed the press corps with a stubborn piece of leafy greens in his teeth.

Spicer defended the President against calls to apologise for urging viewers to watch the Fox News show Judge Jeanine.
He replied:
For what? For supporting a show on Fox? No.
He’s a fan of the show, plain and simple.
