This couple's Star Wars-themed wedding is better than bullseye-ing a womp rat in your T-16

Nobody told this guest not to wear white to a wedding!

In November 2016, Courtney and Gareth Titchmarsh got hitched in Hamilton, New Zealand.

The couple, who met when they were 14, had some fancy wedding photos done - pretty standard these days.

But they revealed that someone didn't get the memo about not upstaging the bride.

GASP.

Courtney, knowing Gareth was a Star Wars fan, decided to surprise him by having a Stormtrooper walk her down the aisle.

This image is also being used for the upcoming Stormtrooper/the Shins collaboration: Port of Mustafar. (We kid).

Courtney told the Daily Mail Australia that the idea for the Stormtrooper came after she found these cake toppers:

R2-D2 and BB-8.

This isn't the first, and it won't be the last time Star Wars plays a part in romance.
