Sexist stereotypes are everywhere in society, even in 2018.

One dad discovered this after a sign in an East Sussex Tesco Extra for "Girls toys" made him furious. Bad grammar aside, the dad was unhappy that certain toys were designated for girls and boys, taking to Twitter to voice his displeasure.

Many people were quick to agree with the dad that the sign is inappropriate.

In typical pedantic British style, many also pointed out that the bad grammar was immensely irritating.

Though not everyone took issue with the sign.

In response to the backlash, a Tesco spokeman told indy100:

We agree toys are for everyone and removed the ‘Girls’ Toys’ and ‘Boys’ Toys’ signage from our stores several years ago, but it appears that this one was missed. We will have it changed to the new signage as soon as possible.
