The Daily Star opened a story about murder by describing the victim as 'pretty'

The shocking murder of Zoe Morgan, 21, and Lee Simmons, 33, featured on most tabloid front pages on Thursday morning, but it was probably the Daily Star that found the worst way to cover it.

The paper started the story with "PRETTY Zoe Morgan" which, as some pointed out on Twitter, was sexist and inappropriate.

The couple, who had been together since July and worked together, were found dead with stab wounds on a Cardiff Street on Wednesday, after finishing night shifts at Matalan.

Police have arrested a 20-year-old man, believed to be known to the couple, and are not looking for anyone else.
