These are the 10 most liveable cities in the world

Looking to abandon the rat-race and move to a far and distant land?

Well if the results from the Economist Intelligence Unit's (EIU) Global Liveability Ranking are anything to go by, we suggest heading to Canada or Australia.

At the top of the EIU list, which scores 140 cities on five categories to find the most liveable, was Melbourne, Vienna and Vancouver.

The cities were ranked on stability, healthcare, culture and environment, education and infrastructure. However, as CNBC pointed out, it was clear what made these cities so great. They all are in relatively wealthy countries with good health and education systems and good quality infrastructure. All tend to be medium sized with low population densities.
