Thinking of a career change?
YouGov research has revealed the most desired jobs in Britain - and it turns out people want to be authors and librarians rather than astronauts, firefighters and TV presenters.
As part of the phenomenon dubbed 'bookish Britain' by the pollsters more people want to be accountants than movie stars, but the least desired career choices are miner and call centre worker.
In terms of gender variation, women are more likely than men to want to be interior designers and librarians while men are more likely than women to want to be firefighters, MPs, Astronauts, Formula 1 drivers and train drivers.
YouGov interviewed 14,294 adults between 25 January - 6 February 2015.
