Peeple app founder that lets you review everyone doesn't like being reviewed herself

Irony, oh how we love you.

The co-founder of an new app that allows users to rate and review people has revealed that she, um, doesn't like it when people rate and review her.

Julia Cordray, from Canada, was catapulted to global media attention when the Peeple app, due out in a couple of months, hit the headlines.

The concept is that you can provide feedback and a five-star rating about almost anyone, under three categories: personal, professional and romantic. Once published, a review cannot be taken down.

Cordray and co-founder Nicole McCullough have described Peeple as a "positivity app", but the rest of the world has been united in telling them it will probably be mainly used for negativity.

A lot of people tried to explain this concept on Peeple's Facebook page, leaving unsolicited feedback by commenting on their posts.

In response, apparently without a trace of irony, Cordray wrote on her own Facebook page:

Anyone know how to prevent people from posting on the comments on a company Facebook page? I know how to prevent people from posting on our page just not commenting on our posts.

As someone later remarked on Facebook:

If you can't keep up with this page how in the hell are you going to be able to moderate this monstrosity once it is nationwide?

How indeed...
