Kpop group 1Team have upset their passionate fanbase by announcing their break up.

Their fans have taken to Twitter to express their heartbreak about their musical favourites no longer being a collective.

In a statement, their agency, Liveworks Compay informed the world of their split. They apologised for any upset the surprise announcement caused, but despite that there has been an outpouring of grief.

The group made up of Rubin, BC, Jehyun, Jinwoo and Junghoo hit the airwaves in March 2019 with their debut single ‘VIBE’. Their final day as a group will be 14 March.

K-pop is a genre of music that originated in the capital city of Seoul in the 1990s. Currently, the biggest acts are Blackpink and BTS.
