Chris Evans doesn't know the difference between Adele and Beyoncé apparently

Adele was a guest on Chris Evans' Radio 2 Breakfast Show to debut her hotly anticipated new single 'Hello' on Friday.

It's been so long since the singer released any new music, though, it appears the DJ has forgotten who she is, and Evans managed to mix up her with Beyoncé.

Talking about stage fright, Evans asked her "Don't you have this kind of alter ego that you pretend to become?" at which Adele is clearly a bit confused.

"No, not really, I mean I chat a lot," she replied, before realising he was thinking of Sasha Fierce - Beyoncé's stage persona.

"That's Beyoncé!" she laughed at him. "Sasha Fierce is Beyoncé's alter ego and she's now Mrs Carter."

Evans told listeners he was blushing at the mistake, and we're not surprised.
