A viral TikTok of a dog frightened by seeing Darth Vader prompted a reaction from Luke Skywalker himself - Mark Hamill.

Mark Hamil tweeted the video, writing “smart dog” to Ellie slowly moving off the couch she was perfectly and sweetly sat on, however, when Darth Vader appears, she is seen cowering in the corner, “I only wish I’d thought of hiding behind the couch when I first met him.”

The clip was originally shared by TikTok user @rustymetalmcreation and has gathered over 3 million views as of last night.

A different version was posted showing the dog have the reaction to the original audio which was not the Sith Lord but rather a stampede of horses, a more realistic thing to make a pooch shake, that also was a viral hit, amassing 3.1 hits before the Star Wars remix was posted.

That version was captioned “Good boy is seeing Darth Vader for the first time.”
