England won a game of football. On Thursday afternoon, after going 1-0 down to Wales, England actually came back and won a game of football.
Thanks to a couple of tactical substitions at half-time, the goal poaching skills of Jamie Vardy and the jinking hips of Daniel Sturridge, the Three Lions secured a 2-1 victory to keep their hopes of bringing football home alive and well.
With around five minutes to go and the score locked at 1-1, the camera turned to a Wales fan who was having a hard time keeping it all together.
Fortunately, as he realised he was on the big screen, his tears of angst turned to utter jubilation:
As Sturridge knocked in his 91st minute winner, however, there was only one thing on everyone's mind:
