This map shows where you'd pop up if you dug straight through the Earth

Where would you end up if you dug straight downwards? Apart from dead, of course.

We've all wondered it - and, if you're in the UK, we've all assumed you would emerge - hot, sweaty and with your spade - somewhere in Australia.

Nope, it turns out you'd end up in the ocean just off the south-east coast of New Zealand.

That's according to Antipodes Map, a tool where you can find out exactly where you'd end up from wherever you are.
