School board meeting goes viral after a series of crude prank names were unknowingly read out

A school board meeting in the United States descended into disarray after it was flooded with a stream of crude prank names that were unknowingly read out during the session.

The incident occurred The Henrico County Public Schools Board in Virginia when board member Roscoe D. Cooper III asked the next person to talk: Phil McCrackin.

Now either Mr Cooper III was unfamiliar with childish prank names or was just willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but he did seem rather bemused as to why no one rose up to speak up.

Still, he proceeded to politely read out the next five names all of which were rude pranks. We won’t explain why these are rude but they were: Sook Mahdik, Ophelia McCaulk, Don Kedick, Eileen Dover and Wayne Kerr.

It was almost like something lifted straight from The Simpsons where Bart used to prank call Moe’s bar with lubricous names that the bartender then read out unknowingly, much to everyone’s amusement.

Fortunately for Mr Cooper III, there was no laughing at the school board meeting but it has brought a smile to some people’s faces on YouTube where it has already been viewed more than 200,000 times.

One person commented: “The kids that submitted these names are the future of the US I hope for” with another added: “Meanwhile over in Springfield. Bart and Lisa are having trouble breathing from laughing too much.” A third said: “This video is the highlight of my life since the pandemic started.”

In reality, the prank might have given some much-needed levity to the meeting as according to the Henrico Citizen the agenda was about serious topics such as Covid-19, transportation issues, school reopenings, the school resource officer program and the adoption of pre-Labor Day start times. Sounds thrilling...
