It seems that some Conservative MPs already have a new nickname for Theresa May. And it's disturbing.

Sun journalist Harry Cole today tweeted:

Had second old school Tory MP - in all seriousness - refer to the Prime Minister as “mummy” on the phone today. That's twice in a week.

The Sun’s Westminster correspondent has not yet revealed who these “old school” Tory MPs are – which for their sake is perhaps just as well.

The nickname is vaguely reminiscent of alt-right fanatic Milo Yiannopoulos, who famously calls Donald Trump “Daddy”.

And of course Mike Pence, who infamously refers to his wife as 'Mother'.
