Thicc Mark Zuckerberg is officially a thing

The internet has a wonderful habit of finding humour in any situation.

The last few months have been particularly tricky for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. It all started when Christopher Wylie, also known as the Cambridge Analytica whistleblower, exposed a series of major data breaches which were initially denied, and then confirmed, and then defended by an extremely sheepish-looking Zuckerberg in a Congress hearing.

At this point, Twitter users struck; some rehashed the ‘is Zuckerberg a lizard?’ conspiracy theory - which escalated to the point that Zuckerberg actually responded - others made Star Trek references and plenty more just cracked jokes about his ‘I’m fine, I swear’ face.

Now, a new Zuckerberg meme is going viral. This time, he’s thicc.

Speaking exclusively to Buzzfeed News, 18-year-old Carl Contino – founder of the glorious Facebook meme page 'Squirters Anonymous' – revealed he had created a meme of the Congress hearing after being inspired by ‘skinny legend’ Mariah Carey.

Aidan Hartley, aged 15, also weighed in, creating a series of impressively Photoshopped memes using images of Zuckerberg giving a speech. Describing his inspiration, he said:

I don’t really know what inspired me to make the edits of Zuck, but I knew they were gonna make someone laugh.

That’s really my motivation for these thiccies.

Needless to say, his mission has been accomplished.
