Today we can wish a big happy birthday to the president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, who is 73-years-old.

All across America, the citizens of that fine country are celebrating their president's birthday like there is no tomorrow, except it's not the current president they are celebrating.

No, it's actually his predecessor Barack Obama, whose actual birthday isn't until August 4, but at this stage of the Trump administration when all hope seems lost, you can't blame people for celebrating the past.

As you may have already figured out dozens of people on Twitter are using today to give Obama another birthday or voice their disappointment that today isn't the last president's birthday.

However, Trump supporters are being given the chance to wish the president happy birthday via an online birthday card which you can sign with literally any message you wish.

Naturally, this has proven to be a recipe for disaster for the Republicans.

Political journalist, Judd Legum, did a little bit of research into this digital birthday card which has reportedly received close to one million signatures, which would apparently take Trump 10 days to read all of them, something which he has promised.
