A local news report from Huntington, West Virginia about a student car being unfortunately crushed after a tree fell on it thanks to a negligent maintenance job has gone viral thanks to an eye witness report.
The incident occurred after a branch from the tree went through the windshield of another vehicle. Things got worse after a poor job from the cleanup crew caused the entire tree to collapse and totalled the car in question.
The car belonged to a student from Marshall University but the man who witnessed the whole thing, Billy Tatum has become the real star of the story thanks to his hilarious description of what actually went down.
Speaking to WSAZ, Tatum said, in his amazing accent:
It sounded like a beer can getting flattened. It just was ‘crunch.’ I hate to say it, but it was kind of cool, you know?
What guy doesn’t like destruction. That’s why we go to demolition derbies, but hey, the bottom line is that’s that poor girl’s new car, and she can’t get to school now.
Tatum's incredible delivery has seen him become viral hit and people cannot get enough of this short but already iconic account of a car getting destroyed.

As is compulsory with these kinds of stories, there is now a musical remix.

Thankfully there was a happy ending as the student has since been given a rental car by the city after an official admitted to negligence on behalf of the crew.
