In case you're unaware, according to the movies, opening an ancient sarcophagus is a really, really, really stupid idea.
Earlier this month, scientists and archaeologists unearthed a 2,000-year-old black granite sarcophagus in Alexandria, Egypt, that had never been opened.
Its contents are a mystery, but it's even been suggested that it could be the long lost tomb of Alexander the Great. Alongside the sarcophagus was a ghostly alabaster head.
The decision has been taken to open the ancient coffin, which have understandably caused many social media users to worry that it could unleash a curse.
Some have pointed out that things like this never go well in the movies.
Â
Others wonder whether it's really just a big ploy to get people to the movies in the first place.
Â
Others went straight for the big guns.
Â
Others commented on how similar the situation was to a video game.
Â
Some people just decided they'd speculate on the contents.
Â
Others thought the whole thing was a really good idea.
Â
Open it!
Â
Others welcomed the mummy with open arms.
Â
Some just noted that the world is chaotic enough as it is, thank you very much.
Â
Whatever happens, people are ready for it.
