Lady Gaga may be best known for her chart-topping hits, but she's also turned her hand to plenty of ventures outside music, from acting and her beauty line Haus Labs, to serving as Polaroid's creative director back in 2010.
Now, she's entering entirely new territory – and, in a surprise to absolutely no one, her Little Monsters are backing her every step of the way.
On Saturday (22 August), Gaga turned to Instagram to announce Outer Bio and YUNA, "building the future of skin health" alongside her husband Michael Polansky.
While the post itself was pretty cryptic, it's essentially a skin-health research firm that the pair touched upon in her November 2025 Rolling Stone cover.
"It was her idea," Polansky told the publication, adding that Gaga has always been on the board of directors but chose to keep it out of the spotlight.
"The attention that Stefani’s involvement would bring — it wasn’t necessary. It’s not consumer-facing. It’s a research company.… My work is not public in the same way. When she talks about us being partners, it kind of looks like it all goes one direction, but she’s the most incredible support to me as well," he added.

According to the website, Outer Bio was founded to bridge the gap between what can be measured in a lab and what actually works on human skin. The company uses human skin tissue to study how compounds perform over longer periods, allowing researchers to observe processes such as collagen rebuilding, inflammation, and accumulated damage that traditional models may struggle to capture.
Inevitably, fans flooded the post with excitement with one writing: "This is actually so badass."
Another joked: "C’mon Dr. Gaga, teleport our skin to Mars!"
Meanwhile, a third chimed in: "Lady Science. We loved it, Mother!"
