In what is perhaps the most evil trick that could be played out each Halloween, US chatshow host Jimmy Kimmel asks his viewers to tell their children they ate all their hard-earned candy, film their reaction and upload it to YouTube.
This year, the show said it received thousands of entries, and the above video is a selection of the best.
It's fair to say the kids didn't take the joke very well...
