The Trump administration has altered the refugee ban, exempting those coming from the listed seven countries, providing they have green cards that grant them permanent residency in the US.

The decision came after New York federal judge, Ann Donnelly, ordered a stay on the deportation order for those with valid visas, and said the government "hasn’t had a full chance to think about this".

A table created by theHuffington Post has resurfaced online after Kim Kardashian tweeted it on Sunday:

The statistics, compiled using data from the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), the National Weather Service (NWS), and a number of other places, looked at average causes of deaths over a period of 10 years.

Findings showed that between 2004 and 2014, there were 737 deaths annually as a result of falling out of bed.

Death by 'Islamic Jihadist immigrants' however, averaged out to just two a year.

The data requires a pinch of salt: although it averages terror attacks in the space of 10 years, it does not include numbers from Orlando's night club shooting, where 50 people died, as well as terror attacks in 2015 and 2016.

However...

According to the Cato Institute, a public policy research organisation, “foreigners from those seven nations have killed zero Americans in terrorist attacks on US soil between 1975 and the end of 2015”.

Yes, there have been exactly zero deaths in the US caused by foreign nationals coming from the seven countries Donald Trump listed in the ban.

Zero.
