The Labour party is down 19 shadow ministers, the Conservatives are in panic mode after Cameron’s final revenge in refusing to immediately enact Article 50, and Tom Watson is still recovering from a Glastonbury bender.

And it’s only Monday.

"The British people are tired of experts", justice secretary Michael Gove told Sky News' Faisal Islam during the campaign, a soundbite which has notoriously come to haunt him as the world looks to him for a plan.

We are facing an uncertain future, as Gove and his fellow Brexiteers are keenly aware.

In light of the precarious situation, a Stephen Collins cartoon that originally appeared in the Guardian in March 2012, has once again come to light.

It's been used over the years to remind people that Gove doesn't inspire much confidence - whether as education secretary, chief whip, justice secretary, or face of the Vote Leave campaign.

Maybe it's best not to trust Gove with the big things.

Just a thought.
