Trump just brought up Eric Schneiderman's 'horrific women abuse' and everyone made the same point

President Donald Trump has agreed to shut down his own charity following corruption claims made against the company.

A statement given by New York attorney general Barbara Underwood said that the Trump Foundation had agreed to "dissolve under judicial supervision" after a judge ruled in favour of their office.

This is part of an ongoing investigation into what Trump and his three adult children used the charity, with suggestions that it was used for personal and political gain.

Our petition detailed a shocking pattern of illegality involving the Trump Foundation – including unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more.

This amounted to the Trump Foundation functioning as little more than a chequebook to serve Mr Trump’s business and political interests.

The remaining assets of the foundation will be redistributed to other 'reputable organisations' approved by the attorney general's office.

In response to the foundation being closed down, Trump attempted to defend the work that the charity had done before attacking former New York attorney general Eric Schneiderman who has filed numerous lawsuits against Trump since 2013.

Allegations of sexual assault were made against Schneiderman in May, with four women who say that they were in a relationship with him alleged that he had hit them and threatened violence against them.

The 63-year-old denied the claims but stepped down as attorney general while he is under investigation. In a statement given at the time he said:

In the privacy of intimate relationships, I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual activity.

I have not assaulted anyone. I have never engaged in nonconsensual sex, which is a line I would not cross.

Trump isn't exactly wrong to bring up these but then again he's hardly a person who can talk about abuse towards women, as his history is just as 'shady' as Eric's.

With this in mind, people began to make this very obvious point about Trump, with some asking when he plans to resign too.

Others couldn't believe that the president would actually use the word 'sleazebag.'
