Woman hailed as a 'hero' after giving Trump motorcade the middle finger

As the United States nears 100,000 deaths, Donald Trump did what any president would do in this situation and played golf.

Yes, despite large parts of the United States reopening to the public with an emphasis on social distancing and deaths nearing 100,000, Trump travelled down to his own golf course in Sterling, Virginia.

Trump reportedly spent both Saturday and Sunday at the Trump National Golf Course in Sterling, with images appearing to show the president in a white polo t-shirt and baseball club on the private course which is said to be just 20 minutes south of Washington DC.

Although it was only a stone's throw from the White House it's always pretty obvious when Trump is in town and despite the jarring sight of dozens of heavily guarded cars driving down a road.

However, one local resident wasn't phased in the slightest and she let Trump know exactly what she thought of him and his entourage as they travelled past.

It's arguable but this small gesture might be more powerful and meaningful than anything Trump has done since the pandemic began.

Unsurprisingly, she is being hailed as a hero.

This isn't an unfamiliar occurrence for Trump. Back in 2017 Juli Briskman, was was a former government contractor, was pictured cycling alongside the motorcade in Virginia and also flipping her middle finger at the president. Fast forward to November 2019 and Briskman won a local election to unseat an incumbent Republican.

At this stage, we're not sure who the woman in the latest picture is but don't be surprised if she winds up in office in the near future.
