BTS dropped the ‘Butter’ remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion and people are excited

BTS and Megan Thee Stallion fans rejoice! The “Butter” remix has arrived.

Megan begins the song by introducing the collaboration with “It’s the hot girl coach and BTS.” Megan’s appearance is one for the books in the remix, which includes a fully-fledged rap verse straight after the chorus.

“I remember writing my flows in college/ Now I need global entry to the shows I’m rocking/ Smooth like cocoa butter,” the American artist emphasizes on the beat.

People on Twitter couldn’t contain their excitement for collaboration and took to the platform to share it.

“AAAAAAA best remix of the year #BTSxMeganTheeStallion@BTS_twt,” someone wrote.

“Great collab! Megan Thee Stallion’s verse is sooooo hot! Screw the haters! @BTS_twt @theestallion #BUTTERTHEEREMIX #BTSxMeganTheeStallion,” another added.

Someone else wanted to know when the music video will hit the internet and wrote, “Hoping that they also have [a] music video for this, I am so ready to shake that a** #BUTTERTHEEREMIX #BTSxMeganTheeStallion.”

This anticipated release followed a legal struggle with Megan and her record label wanting to prevent her from releasing the collaboration with the K-Pop group, as well as a legal intervention earlier this week.

She filed a court claim on Tuesday, alleging that her label, 1501 Complete Entertainment, was preventing the track’s release.

She claimed the only way they’d agree to the feature is if there was a financial deal in place of $100,000, with 1501 Entertainment keeping all of the money and the rapper getting nothing.

Megan stated that the action was intended to put a stop to her career, a circumstance she encountered with the release of Suga last year.

By the end of the day, a Texas judge had decided in the rapper’s favor, ruling that 1501 and colleagues had “and will continue to engage in conduct preventing the release of [Megan Thee Stallion’s] new music.”

To celebrate the song, fandoms of the rapper and K-Pop stars raised $100,000 in a day for #TheeARMYFund, an initiative that advocates for “freedom and justice.”

The donations will be dispersed to Black Women For Wellness, Houston Food Bank and Women for Afghan Women.

The Butter remix reached over 3.5 million views in less than an hour of its release and trended on social media for more than a day before it was released.
