If a topless photo of Chelsea Handler is not safe for your work, this post is NSFW
On Thursday night US comedienne and presenter Chelsea Handler posted a photo of her recreating Vladimir Putin's infamous horseback pose on Instagram.
The recreation of the photo, published alongside the words 'anything a man can do, a woman has the right to do better', was pretty accurate, so the Chelsea Lately host, like the Russian president, was topless.
Instagram has a 'no nudity' policy, however, and within ten to 20 minutes the photo was taken down, as was another later attempt to post the same photo.
In a separate Instagram post, Handler wrote: "If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it's OK, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?"
However, she did post a grab of the photo on Twitter, which has no such guidelines.
Scout Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, staged a similar protest against Instagram earlier this year, while more recently Facebook reminded us all about its zero tolerance policy against women who post photos of them breastfeeding their children.
