Jason Manford has offered a sharp assessment of an anti-gay marriage campaign poster that is being used by "no" campaigners ahead of Ireland's referendum this month.
The Mancunian comedian posted an image of a "children deserve a mother and a father" poster on his Facebook page along with the explanation:
The person who designed this poster had a mother and a father and look how much of an ignorant prick they turned out to be!
Manford then offered his support to the "yes" campaign and explained that, no matter the gender of their parents, what children really deserve is love.
