Donald Trump and Twitter go together like a horse and carriage, or something.

Now, in his latest bizarre contribution to the social media platform, Trump has shared a doctored video of Joe Biden touching and kissing himself, in a bid to mock the allegations that the former vice president inappropriately touched women.

He appears to like the video so much, that he's actually pinned it to his profile. How presidential. How professional. How grown up.

In the tweet, he wrote:

WELCOME BACK JOE!

The video was also posted by his eldest son Donald Trump Jr the day before, who re-tweeted it from the account 'Carpe Donktum', that describes itself posting tweets and memes in support of Donald Trump.

Needless to say, the video caused a lot of discussion on Twitter.

Many pointed out how politically uncivil the whole thing was.

Others highlighted that it's rather hypocritical considering Trump's past.

Pot calling kettle black, much?

While some Trump supporters thought the whole thing was rather hilarious.

To date, seven women have come forward to claim that Joe Biden made them feel uncomfortable with what they deemed as inappropriate touching.

In a two-minute video issued earlier this week, Joe Biden acknowledged the allegations and issued a statement regards them.

In the video, he said:

Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I've heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That's my responsibility and I will meet it.

He has now also acknowledged Trump's dig at him.

In a tweet, he wrote:

I see that you are on the job and presidential, as always.
