Trump Jr says his dad ‘does not do well with illegal immigrants,’ does better with ‘actual Americans'

Donald Trump Jr is raising eyebrows once again with a controversial Tweet about his dad.

The US president’s son took to Twitter, where he glibly revealed that Donald Trump “does not do well with illegal immigrants.” He wrote:

Full disclosure: @realDonaldTrump does not do as well with illegal immigrants which is why the Democrats want them so badly. Dem policies are garbage, so they’ll buy the votes however they can rather than spending your tax dollars on you, your families, and actual Americans.

Trump Jr’s comments come as a response to an article written by CNN’s Steve Cortes about Hispanic support for Donald Trump and his increased chances of being re-elected in 2020.

“Hispanic Americans have suffered too many totally preventable losses, such as slain Arizona police Sgt. Brandon Mendoza and young Los Angeles mother Sandra Duran, both murdered by illegal aliens living in America despite multiple prior arrests in the United States,” Cortes wrote.

Trump quote tweeted the article which was shared by the 2020 Trump campaign national press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

It went on to say that Hispanic approval for Trump in the month of March increased by 50 per cent, according to McLaughlin & Associates.

People thought his tweet was the latest in a round of annoying comments

Don Jr’s tweets are often called out for being inaccurate and/or offensive, like the one in which he tried to use murder rates in the US and Mexico to justify a border a wall, and when he criticised the media for the horrific New Zealand mosque shooting.
