A field of weed was burned, because Isis

This amateur footage purports to show Islamic State (Isis) fighters destroying a field of what they claim to be marijuana plants in Akhtarin, Syria.

Akhtarin was seized by Isis fighters earlier this month and the video shows men cutting down green plants from a field, making piles and then dousing them with liquid before setting them on fire.

Intoxicants, including marijuana and alcohol are banned under Islamic law and as Wired noted in 2012, burning fields of weed is an action usually associated with Islamic militant groups.
