Another one of Trump's tweets about Obama has come back to haunt him

Guys, it's nearly Christmas.

It's time to be with friends and family and President Donald Trump will be doing just that - in Florida.

The White House has yet to issue an official statement, but a VIP movement alert for Palm Beach – which is where his Mar-a-Lago resort is located – from Friday to 1 January has been issued by the Federal Aviation Administration, The Palm Beach Post reported.

First Lady Melania and their son Barron are already in Florida.

It appears the US president will be spending the holidays away from the White House, which is something Donald Trump has criticised former President Barack Obama for doing.

In 2013, the then business mogul tweeted his acrimony at Mr Obama spending his Christmas in Hawaii.

You'll notice he also put the word native in inverted commas:

Kettle? Is that you? It’s me, pot.

Mr Trump and Mr Obama and differ in many ways, from the way they open doors for their wives, their Halloween celebrations and even their umbrella tactics.
