Boris Johnson said 'if you obey the law you can come and live your life' and people have made a crucial point

Boris Johnson today made a speech in New York, on the very day that Lady Hale declared his parliament break unlawful, about people obeying the law. The same day.

The prime minister said:

If you obey the law and you do no harm to others, then you can come and live your life as you please in these great cities."

People have been quick to point out the irony of the prime minister telling people to obey the law on the exact day he has been proved doing the exact opposite.

Oh Boris, when will you realise people are listening and have proof of what you've said and done previously? The responses to Johnson's speech were as you would expect

Good luck on returning to the UK under conditions which you yourself condemned, prime minister.
