The election campaign is officially underway.
After days of controversy including a cabinet resignation and backlash to comments by Jacob Rees-Mogg about the Grenfell fire tragedy, Boris Johnson held a rally to officially kick off his campaign.
On the TV, it looked like there were loads of people cheering the PM on as he set out his agenda for the country, from Brexit to education.
But there’s just one problem.

Pictures from the event reveal a very different scene to how the Birmingham rally appeared on TV.
Instead of thousands of supporters, it looks like there were only a handful of people there.
Naturally, when the pictures emerged, people on Twitter had a thing or two to say about it.
