Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump used a campaign speech in Ohio on Monday night to call for the "extreme vetting" of immigrants to the US.

The "self described billionaire", as the New York Times has started calling him, called for an 'ideological test' for new immigrants to combat Islamic extremism. Immigration from certain countries and those with strong terror ties would be halted.

Critics have pointed out that testing for Western liberal values such as religious tolerance and attitudes towards same-sex relationships is probably unethical, not to mention logistically difficult.

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton said the idea was a "cynical ploy".

So bearing all that in mind, would you get into President Trump's America?
