Imagine discovering that someone has been cheating on you while watching a trailer for a trashy reality TV show?

That's exactly what one man claims to have happened to him after seeing the trailer for E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating.

If you've not heard of that show (don't worry, we hadn't either), it does exactly as the title says. It basically involves a bunch of D-list celebrities going on dates with members of the public.

The new season is due to start on E4 on February 4 and the line-up includes the likes of Gemma Collins, Olympic gold medalist Jade Jones, as well as Sam Thompson and Ollie Locke from Made in Chelsea.

Another member of the dating crew is Mike Thalassitis - aka 'Muggy Mike' - from Love Island.

Mike made a name for himself on said show as a bit of a love rat - and it appears that he has worked that same sordid magic on Celebs Go Dating.

A man by the name of Kirran Girling tweeted an image from the trailer of season 4 of what appears to be Mike kissing his girlfriend, Emma Pollard.

The tweet quickly went viral with over 4,000 retweets at the time of writing.

Emma Pollard is the current Miss Shropshire (yes, that's a thing) and has confirmed her appearance on the show both in her Twitter bio and in a tweet where she shared a trailer.

Neither Emma, Kirran or Mike have replied to the tweet so they could be sorting this out privately.

indy100 have contacted E4 for comment.
